Project Introduction

In Højslev, Denmark, one of the country’s biggest producers of biomass is located, supplying biomethane to more than 25,000 households per year. The upgrading system was delivered by Ammongas, and we are very proud to be part of this cooperation. Like Ammongas’ other upgrading solutions, the system is an amine plant, separating the CO2 from the biogas, allowing biomethane to be supplied directly to the natural gas grid.

A collaboration

Developed in collaboration with Lundsby Biogas, the facility has BioCirc as its final customer, who is a leading Danish player in operating biogas facilities. Vinkel Biogas plays a key role in Denmark’s renewable energy goals by reducing greenhouse gas emissions and providing a sustainable waste management solution.
